ProjectsThe Wee Man BritFlick’s proposed first project is The Wee Man based on the true story of the Glasgow ‘Godfather’ Paul Ferris starring John Hannah, Bill Paterson and Ray Winstone. Cast subject to availability, Sales Agent and Distributor approval) The Wee Man is a hard hitting but also sensitive portrayal of growing up in the schemes of Glasgow, loosely based on the best selling autobiography, ‘The Ferris Conspiracy’. A film about how relentless physical bullying and mental torture can help change an unassuming wee young boy into becoming Glasgow’s most feared Godfather. Other projects in development include: Operation Good Guys – The Movie. Based on the Montreux award winning BBC TV series, Operation Good Guys – The Beach is Back, will feature the original cast plus cameos from an array of star names – Jude Law, Jonny Lee Miller and Denise van Outen all appeared in the TV series. A hard hitting look at urban inner city life in the UK with all it’s tensions, prejudices and conflicts, through the eyes of a mixed group of 5th form schoolkids. Director subject to availability, Sales Agent and Distributor approval) C’est La Vie A charming comedy following Mark and Lynda as they sell up their city life in the UK to embark on a new life ‘living the dream’ in the south of France. It all goes horribly wrong when they discover all the ex-pats are as mad as hatters. The Krays was a hugely successful and critically acclaimed film. Chain of Fear picks up the story from where The Krays ended and tells of the downfall of the twins’ empire.
